I'm thinking you should invent some chic slippers for those peas of yours. Some sort of cozy slipper that has a bit of a foil lined flip-top over the toes...a place to put your peas. ;-)

This is genius! But instead of foil, we should use a plastic liner so when you're done cooling your toes you can slip the peas into the microwave and make supper!
Hmm, I foresee pea-lined gloves for hikers and mountaineers. We might be on the verge of riches here.
